Welcome to National Taipei University! The Chinese Language Center offers a free online Mandarin course at the CEFR A1 level to new students enrolling in Fall 2024. The course will cover Lessons 11-15 from "A Course in Contemporary Chinese," Volume 1.
Participants should ideally have CEFR A1 level proficiency in Mandarin. If you have no background in Mandarin, it is recommended that you select Mandarin (1) and Mandarin (2) after the semester begins, which are designed for students with zero foundation of Mandarin.

Schedule Session 1: June 24 to July 17 (Registration period is from June 5 to June 16) Session 2: July 22 to August 14 (Registration period is from July 1 to July 11)
Course Time Monday to Friday, GMT+8 Taiwan Time 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Online Course Platform Classes will be conducted online via Google Meet.

Participant’s priority The class will be limited to 20 participants, with admission priority as follows: 1) New students enrolled in the ICSI degree program at NTPU for the Fall 2024 semester. 2) New students enrolled in non-ICSI departments at NTPU for the Fall 2024 semester. 3) International students enrolled at NTPU. 4) International students not enrolled at NTPU (including students from sister schools).
Registration Procedure l Please fill the Registration form. After submitting the form, those who receive a confirmation E-mail within 5 working days are accepted. l Once the registration for each session is full, the registration form will be closed early. l Those who attend Session 1 and wish to register for Session 2 must have an attendance rate of at least 90% and a mid-term evaluation score of 70 or above to be eligible for Session 2.
